When it comes to education, taking a one-size-fits-all approach can compromise a student’s ability to grow and thrive. At Otto-Eldred, we embrace the importance of personalized learning for all students. Part of this philosophy demands that students be presented with rigorous coursework and authentic experiences that align with student interests, strengths, and areas of need.
In 2016, OEHS opened the Cyber Commons, which presents a non-traditional learning environment where students can take a wide variety of courses through a web-based platform. This has opened many doors for Otto-Eldred students, including opportunities in foreign languages, business, engineering, digital photography, anatomy and physiology, child development, and much more.
We have created learning pathways for students and organized them into sixteen different career clusters. Students have complete flexibility in determining their specific path based on career interest and future goals.
