Home of the Terrors

Welcome to Otto-Eldred High School, home of the Terrors! We are a junior/senior high school located in McKean County, Pennsylvania.  As a small school, we offer our students personalized opportunities for learning and growth, and we work together to prepare our graduates for life after high school.

Please take some time to get to know our school and our staff members. We have a wide variety of arts and athletics programs available to our students, so feel free to explore our site and learn more about all the great things we have to offer.

A Message from Our Administration

Summer is here! Our maintenance crew is already busy working to get both buildings ready for August. While our local roadways will present some inconveniences in Eldred, Rixford, and Duke Center, our summer school is planned and scheduled to begin with scheduled pick-ups on June 17. Some PSSA data has been released; we hope to have the full scope of our students’ success by August. With the retirements seen in the spring, we are on well on our way to filling our staff by the first day of in-service.

Looking back at the 2023–24 school year, we are always appreciative of the support our community has for our staff and students. We truly have a special place to see these "youngsters" grow into their adult selves. The class of 2024 is full of examples of students that matured throughout their school career, with future plans that met their passions.

We look forward to seeing the next batch of kindergartners through seniors enter our hallways, after a well-deserved break, of course. Before we know it, orientations will be here as well as the first football Friday!

Please keep the school informed of any changes in addresses or contact information that may occur over the summer. The best time to stop by or call is from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the week at (814) 817-1380.
