Otto-Eldred JR.-SR. High School

Home of the Terrors

Welcome to Otto-Eldred High School, home of the Terrors! We are a junior/senior high school located in McKean County, Pennsylvania.  As a small school, we offer our students personalized opportunities for learning and growth, and we work together to prepare our graduates for life after high school.

Please take some time to get to know our school and our staff members. We have a wide variety of arts and athletics programs available to our students, so feel free to explore our site and learn more about all the great things we have to offer.

A Message from Our Administration

Dear Otto-Eldred Community,

A new year has begun! Students and staff are settling into some new routines as we launch our learning for the year. It is always exciting to see the growth in our students over the summer. A number of "firsts" turn quickly into "lasts" as we see them develop year to year.

Some new faces in places will greet students after a summer of hiring and rearranging. Please do not hesitate to reach out to staff members with any questions or concerns. A new year brings new expectations, especially when students transition to high school or middle school. Be on the lookout for the elementary open house opportunity on September 18. The high school open house will be September 26. This is a great opportunity to get to know staff.

While some updates were made to enhance our building security over the summer, one big change involves meals! All students at Otto-Eldred are eligible for free breakfast and lunch daily. This will be our first year utilizing the Community Eligibility Provision as part of the Federal Food Nutrition Program. On a related note, with the change in federal guidelines, parents utilizing Medicaid/medical assistance need to be aware of the update in application process. Automatic renewals have ended, so be sure to check your son/daughter's status.

Enjoy the beautiful weather this fall!

Sincerely,

Matthew Splain
